Attention Scholars Summer Academy
June & August, 2024
SoRA’s Attention Scholars Summer Academy was the Strother School’s inaugural week-long, inquiry-based program for select high school students. Through readings, activities, group discussions and a self-led creative project, admitted students explored the fundamentals of ATTENTION ACTIVISM. Their explorations of attention’s relation to traditions of teaching and learning, artistic practice, mental health, politics, and more culminated in creative scholarly works produced over the course of the week.
