SoRA Kickoff Weekend: Attention Activism in 2025

This Saturday and Sunday, we will be hosting a SoRA Kickoff weekend with several opportunities to learn more about Attention Activism.

Saturday 1/25

12pm - 2pm: Facilitating Collective Attention: A Train-the-Trainer Workshop
SoRA team will share the fundamentals of facilitating collective practices of attention. Over two hours, participants will acquire a working toolkit and will facilitate practices for a group of their peers. Anyone with an interest in attention activism and organizing practices in their own communities is invited to join!

(Workshop is free and open to all!)

3pm - 5:30pm: Attention Labs (Saturday: Level 1)
Attention Labs are SoRA’s flagship introduction to practices of collective attention. As of 2025, our Attention Labs are tiered according to the difficulty and duration of the Practices we do together. If you have never attended a Lab before, please join us at Saturday’s Level 1 Lab. If you have been to a Lab already, join us at Sunday’s Level 2 Lab.

Sunday 1/26

12pm - 2pm: Facilitating Collective Attention: A Train-the-Trainer Workshop
This workshop is identical to Saturday’s, so please attend the one that best fits your schedule.
