From our SEPTEMBER SIDEWALK STUDIES series: TIME
SPACE and TIME
Our understanding of time is inextricably bound up with our understanding of space — which, in turn, has been shaped by the work of geographers over the past half-millenia. We'll think about the ways that the standardization of space has influenced our experience of time, and how future geographers can make space for a wider range of temporalities — cyclical, spiraling, meandering, and more.
