OUR STUDY CORPS
STUDY CORPS is a wing of SoRA’s NATIONAL ORGANIZING INITIATIVE. Our STUDY CORPS team consists of organizers, researchers, and facilitators for ATTENTION ACTIVISM who design, organize, and lead a diverse range of experimental study gatherings in NYC and across the country.
Our NYC & USA cohorts convene twice a month (at SoRA's Sanctuary in Dumbo and online, respectively) to research facilitation techniques, develop Practices of Attention, and experiment with new forms of grassroots study.
STUDY CORPS members facilitate SIDEWALK STUDY, SoRA’s program in street-level pedagogy. These gatherings often follow a monthly theme. We are regularly adding to the team on a rolling basis! Applications are linked below, and will be reviewed at the end of each trimester. (Please note all applicants to STUDY CORPS USA must apply IN PAIRS.)
